The Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative, Inc., was established in 1998. GCMI is an unprecedented partnership of human service agencies, local banks and businesses working together to provide economic empowerment opportunities to individuals and communities through job creation and self-employment opportunities by stimulating and supporting entrepreneurship. GCMI is a non-profit 501(C) 3 organization located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

GCMI's Business Coaches and Support Staff have over 60 years of small business and financial services experience. The GCMI Team knows that it takes more than just money to start and successfully operate a business. We provide not only access to capital but most importantly knowledge and business support to help our clients start and stay in business.
