The Ice House Entrepreneurship Program is an experiential learning program designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial thought and process. It is also designed to engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset and the unlimited opportunities it can provide.  We can deliver this program in a 3-day boot camp, 5-week course, 8-week course and even a semester course (up to 16 weeks).  

 

This Kauffman Foundation recognized and supported program provided through the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative (ELI), is a curriculum that is growing in higher education and entrepreneurial training institutions around the world. 

 

This course can cater this course to High School age students, College, Adults, Returning Citizen Population, and Youth Development programs. The entrepreneurial process provides tools and coaching for participants to engage in problem solving, critical thinking, and recognizing opportunities in life and in business.

 

Course Learning Objectives:

 

  • How entrepreneurs with limited resources identify, evaluate, and validate opportunities in real-world circumstances
  • Understand the entrepreneurial mindset – identify specific beliefs and assumptions that drive entrepreneurial behavior
  • Understand the basics of bootstrapping – the process that enables entrepreneurs to build client-funded business
  • How to connect with local entrepreneurs who can provide critical guidance and support 
  • Establish and enhance entrepreneurial attitudes, behaviors, and skills
  • Understand and experience the entrepreneurial process
  • Identify social and situational factors that encourage or inhibit entrepreneurial behavior
  • Establish a network of mentors and advisors who can provide ongoing support
